Parental involvement

Designed for success

We’re willing to bet that you, like all parents, are busy. But don’t worry; our learning systems are designed to take that into consideration. How involved you get is largely up to you.

Learning together

At Enthuse, we work hard to build a partnership between the tutor, the parent(s) and the child. This partnership will provide your child with the best opportunity for success.

Research shows that a child is much more likely to succeed when a parent plays an active role in his or her learning. Our experience shows that the Enthuse system works best when parents or carers are involved from the start.

At the same time, we recognise that you probably have a limited amount of time to devote to helping your child to study. So here is what you will need to do each week, as a bare minimum.

Each week you will need to:

  • Print out the pack of materials that has been emailed by your tutor
  • Provide a quiet area for your child to work (preferably for five short sessions each week)

  • After each piece of work has been completed, take a few moments to mark your child’s work using our clear and simple answer sheet (this should take less than 1 minute)

  • Take a few moments at the end of each week to let your tutor know of any wrong answers (this should take less than 3 minutes).

The more the merrier

Of course, if you are able to play a more active role in your child’s learning, so much the better. Your tutor will be able to discuss the options and could suggest additional activities for you to do with your child if that’s what you want.
